Long Distance Moves Smart Move is ready to move your residence or business. A long distance move consists of relocation outside of a 35 mile radius or crossing state lines. We offer several long distance moving options. We can deliver right away, or select a time suitable for you later. Our movers are carefully selected. Find out how we can save you money.
Load/Unload Help Smart Move has excellent options for the do-it-yourself move. Self-service moves are when you provide the moving truck, usually a rental, all other equipment, and we provide the movers. Make sure you have sufficient furniture pads, tape, and rope when you select this option. We can provide these if you'd like. Put our expertise to work loading your truck or pod when you leave town, or to unload your belongings when you come into town for a great start in your new home. Pack/Unpack Help Having professionals pack and/or unpack will save you a lot of time and money, allowing you to concentrate on more important things. Typically, we will come out a few days before your scheduled moving date to pack everything properly, but we can work with your schedule. We bring all the supplies such as boxes, tape, packing paper, bubble wrap, peanuts, and dish crating. After your move, we can unpack right away or choose a time better for you.
Rental Truck Driving Help Take the stress out of driving those huge trucks by hiring a professional driver from Smart Move. We can drive your truck anywhere in the country, or just locally around town. This is also an excellent option for self-service moves.
Rates Long distance moves need to be quoted by a Smart Move representative. All hourly rates below are charged in quarterly increments, so you don't pay one hour for only fifteen minutes. There is a two hour minimum for all moving services. For rental truck driving help, there is a 50 mile minimum. We can provide a single mover only to other licensed moving companies. All travels fees are a one time flat-rate charge.
